I might shoot some local production matches with it. Local USPSA officer indicated it would be OK. Don't have any competition equipment yet, it sure looks like fun.
More just because it feels very good in my hand, accurate, and excellent followup shot capability.
Well I got it to the range this morning and after getting used to different grip holds and trigger reset was able to get these groups standing at 50ft with some Agulia 147gr RN. Even though my first 8 shots were low right due to double action, the rest single action - need some practice and...
That's the daunting part; it is in my hands and headed to range in the morning.:what:
Like he said it has had little use. Just some light grease/oil on barrel, lugs, & rails - Wow sweet DA/SA trigger.
I have an opportunity to purchase a CZ 75 Accu Shadow lite from a buddy in need of some post Christmas cash.
Low round count and looks like new - will even let me take it for a test run.
I do not know much about them other than they are an updated version of CZ75, which I hear is a hidden...
Looks like a 390 receiver
May be a lowly Palma shooter, but looks ok.
Has a recoil reducer, Cole spring kit, front sight selection, Beretta sleeve and option for wood stocks (not a big fan - prefer synthetic cause I'll shoot it).
Range officer at local nationally ranked shotgun range indicated a...
Have an opportunity to purchase a low use safe queen Beretta 390 (Italian receiver)
between 300-350 target loads through it, sporting clays only
Everything in the pic for $550
Yes or no?
:uhoh:Not really a shotgun guy - so need some guidance.
Please & Thank you!
I recently purchased a Tikka 223 Varmint 1x8 twist barrel - been working on some load development. Seems pretty accurate for a box stock rifle.
Like 55-82gr bullets running them above 2800 fps
target practice
Did some load development and found a good sweet spot for Berger 80 & 82 gr bullets.
Have them running around 2800+ fps, jammed .010", Wolf SR primer, Winchester cases, .002" neck tension some were running .003 to .0035 (two low shots on target 2) and 2000-IMR powder.
Pretty...
Here's a pic of it wearing my F-Open scope.
Additions: Bobsled will certainly help with my 75-82.5gr heavy bullet tests, steel recoil lug fit perfect excellent lockup, bolt shroud - great addition/easy install, and the bi-pod drops right onto the front sling swivel eyelet.
Really like the...
Had some Hornady 75 BTHP and loaded them up with some 2000-IMR and was getting some fairly consistent 5 shot cloverleafs at 100 yds and little spread at 300, same grouping consistency used a bob sled for single loading long rounds. 55 AMAX very tight, 62 Armscor decent for cannalure cheap...
Tikka T3 Varmint 223, 1x8 twist bull barrel
I have read mostly positive reviews about them, excellent butter smooth action, very accurate
Negatives expensive mags and stock is a composite
One I found has 70 rounds through it. He purchased it 2 years ago.
Rifle, case, and the 30 left over...
Thank you all for guidance on my T7 purchase. I am really pleased with my decision to purchase.
Just got it mounted to its new place on my bench.
I usually don't get lucky in buying stuff, so this was a first, might be a good year ahead.
Hope and wish same for you all!
OK
Stopped by to look at it after work.
WOW - really better than I thought.
Even talked him down to $175.
Thanks to all for feedback.
Feels like a good deal - nice entry into 2014
couple pics of it
New to these and have a chance to buy a low use (like new) Redding T7 turret press with Primer bar (still in original box) for $200
It is used, but, like new condition.
Good or bad on price?
