Aside from the frame crack: I looks very similar to peening I have seen on a friend's Glock 35.

By the looks of what's here: I would say the last one was just silver soldered to the barrel. I can make one and reattach it, then just use it to shoot black powder cartridges for cowboy shoots.

I've been contemplating doing something to my MN, although I can't seem to find a modern scope mount that allows me the ability to leave Iron sights on it. I like the look of Mojo sights, so those are why I don't want a scope mount replacing my Iron sight.
