    Favorite 9mm gun?

Glock 19 with 33 round magazines. Now that's fun!

    Kahr question

Poly Kahr's are junk. As a previous owner of 2 of them, I can testify. If you absolutely must have a Kahr, a metal frame is the only one to have.

    Palm pistol

Everyone can discuss it's deficiencies but the bottom line is: More guns = better

    Buying a 10mm Glock soon -- thoughts?

I owned a G20 and it's a great pistol. One warning however. Unless you are planning to reload, it's a very expensive caliber. You're taking $22+ for the cheapest box of 50 CCI Blazer practice loads.

    Best 45 sub compact

You will get 20 replys and 18 or 19 different answers which is never really helpful. First, determine how much money you have to spend. Go to your local gun shop and fondle the models in that price range. Rent and shoot them if possible. There is no one size fits all answer.

Based on your requirements, I say Sig P230, CZ 83, or Bersa Thunder .380.

Conclealable holster for the Glock 23

I use a Galco IWB USA horsehide holster for my G19/23. It's an excellent holster and I recommend it highly. http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG3.asp?ProductID=2101&GunID=49

    All Glocked Up

G19, G22, G23, and G26 here. Unless you are totally in love with .45ACP, I would get the G22. The G22 is easy to convert to 9mm and .357 sig with a conversion barrel. You can even use the same mags with the .357 sig. My plan is to get a G30SF next. :)

    Why CURRENTLY buy a 25 or 32?

For some people the recoil of a KT .380 in such a light frame is too hard to grip and control the recoil. I gave my dad a KT P3AT and he kept limp wristing. He couldn't hold it well enough for the recoil. I then gave him a KT P32 and he shot the .32 much easier. There is little...

    Thoughts on Para Ordnance?

I had a PXT 14.45 and it shot well. No problems or jams. I ended up selling it because I didn't really warm up to the 1911 platform. But a good gun nonetheless.

    poll: POLYMER Kahrs

I owned two poly Kahrs and would never touch one again with a 10 foot poll. The first one developed a frame crack after < 100 rounds. It took almost 2 months and 10 phone calls to get Kahr to warranty the item and when they sent the second model it had constant FTF and would start randomly...

You can only own ONE handgun

It would be 9mm, hands down. Plenty of HD power with +P rounds. Much more economical than the other calibers in range shooting. I would handle several 9mm models and make the judgment call. The new Springfield XDm soon to be released in 9mm would be a good call. I would also look at...

    Rohrbaugh R9s versus Ruger LCP

The Rohrbaugh looks like a nice little pocket carry piece. But for the rest of us living in the real world that can't drop $1200 on one gun I can purchase: - Glock 23 & Holster (primary carry) & HP ammo - Ruger LCP & Holster (BUG) & HP ammo - Remmington 870 & 00 Buckshot to defend the...

    Small 9mm Kel-tec vs Kahr

I owned two Kahr's and they were a huge disappointment. Constant jamming and one kept dropping the magazine. Not to mention the hefty price tag. I would never own anything made by Kahr again. I own a Kel Tec P11, P32, and P3AT. The P11 and P32 are 100% reliable with all ammo. The P3AT is...

    Conversion Barrel for Glock 22

I have a Glock 22 and I am looking at 9mm conversion barrels. What's been everyone's experience? Do I need to change to a G17 extractor?

    Are Kahr triggers unsafe?

I find Kahr triggers unsafe because when you pull them there is a good chance the frame will break or you will get a FTE, like the two I had (and couldn't get rid of fast enough).

Bad Experience Today - Glad Michigan is Finally Eliminating "Pistol Inspections"

Northfield Twp. just north of Ann Arbor. This is the first time I've had a problem with them. I've taken about 15 guns in there the last 2 years. I'm guessing the office girls/officers were making mistakes and mis-identifying firearms and their specifications so the bosses clamped down on...
