I am thinking of breaking out a lever action for HD.
I have 2 1894 Marlins, one in .357 and another in .44 magnum.
thinking of using .44spl out of the .44 Marlin.
which would you use and why?

I just lucked out and obtained a barely fired Ruger Super Blackhawk Bisley hunter.

The Bisley grip seems to keep the gun controllable with the off the shelf 44 mag rounds I've used.
Don't have the scope rings.
Any history, stories, background advise coments on the Hunter...

Yup.. I just purchased a Glock 17 1st generation with the old style box with a serial # that confirms it as # 20 of the first imported to the US.
