What about that gun manufacturer immunity bill the NRA spent all its 2005 political capital on? I thought it was going to save the industy? Gee I guess it turns out the only thing that would REALLY save the industry is selling products people want to buy. Who would have thought?
Same for me. A lot of it had to do with knowing I would be letting my parents down when I was a kid and now that I am older it is knowing that I would be letting myself down.
I was interested by what you posted here and did a little more searching and found this: http://www.cruffler.com/historic-february00.html
Very interesting read regarding development of the StG 44 and I think it conclusively shows that the M! Carbine was not the inspiration for it.
King of the Hill is great.
COTTON: No wonder that kid from the playground stole your pail! He knows you can't shoot!
LITTLE HANK: I want my binky back.
COTTON: You want your binky back, you gotta come in firin'!

Here is something I have seen that I always thought was a good idea: Get a big mason jar and put a card on it that reads "Cartridges from "Empty" Guns" . Put a couple in there to make up for the ones that got away. Place it in a prominent location. Should give everyone something to think...
The way I see it it is a continuously actuating device, as long as you hold down the trigger (electrical switch) it will fire if there is ammo in the gun. This would be the same as using a power drill to actuate one of the crankfire devices which the ATF has said is a big no-no.

As for his role in the serialization scheme, I have nothing to say that...
I wanted to quote this because it is 100% on the money and I had a similar realization a few weeks ago when someone tried awful hard to get me into a fight with them while I was carrying at work.
I have shot 2,000 rds of wolf through my ARs and only had 2 malfunctions, both FTEs that were fixed by giving the charging handle some love. I do not see the problem.
I am interested in starting reloading though, is that Lee Pro 1000 223 Rem package linked earlier in the thread the only...
I have Read Professor Bogus' thrilling research and have found a further revelation:
The right to free press was written only to ensure Slaveholders could post public notices of escaped slaves to aid in their apprehension.
Obviously the constitution is racist we need to throw it out.
Consider: They are not going to be making any more 500$ Garands. ARs are going to be readily available new for the forseeable future. I would get the CMP Garand.
If you leave your generator outside I am going to share the experience a friend of mine had with a clever theif:
Reading a book with the lights on after dark, generator running. All of the sudden the lights go out. He hears the rumble of the generator outside so he thinks something tripped...
