Well Said. It is the luck of the draw and I am very tempted. My dad only has custom, rem and ruger. They all cost a lot, have wood trim and shoot very well. Maybe I should stick to the same formula? I know that a rem 700 will likely print well. It would be odd if it didn't.

I don't see an instability issue? You act as though at 300 yards it shotguns. I simply stated if one chose to they could invest in the cartridge and build a rifle that could compete. For hunting tho it's plenty good.

I plan on a 308 soon. The mossberg has my eye so I have spent some time researching it. I have found A LOT of videos showing less than desirable accuracy. I am hoping someone here has experience with this rifle good or bad. I'd rather spend more on a 700sps or savage 110 and get good accuracy.

I love the 243 that 65cm would just be great its like a 270 light in my eyes. Elk on down but with no real recoil. I just don't like it's over hype as the greatest at everything. For a short action it's pretty tough to beat

I'd disagree the bc never really lies and the number favor the 270 win to be an accurate cartridge. My rem cdl has zero issue printing .5 moa with game kings. I'm not sure why one would claim that 130 grain bullet can't fly right?

Oh how I love my 250 savage. Inside 100 it's just a death ray. But it's just no Bueno at 300 the best deer cartridge should getrdone well past woods distance.

The Bob kinda falls apart the further you go out though. Wind can blow it inches fast and it's looses punch. I'd prefer a 2506 which I give number 2 for whitetails. Still such a great cartridge, a shame it's not more common.
