That hasn't been the case for the 30+? years that they've been around, those are both recent developments. They could have Ron Paul in office and and a great economic picture and they still wouldn't release civvy versions.
It's not quite the same thing. How many companies make AR-15 rifles? AK platform? Mauser?
I'm honestly not sure how the laws work. If they would release a legitimate civilian version of their firearms they wouldn't have to worry about this....
Lol. I say meh to roller delay.
Depends on budget. I have a Nikon Buckmasters on my .223 T3. Works pretty well. If you aren't going to be shooting at 200+ yards there isn't any reason to get over a 9x power scope. The BDC on the buckmaster is pretty cool. I can hit steel chickens at 300 yards pretty easy with it.
I'm...
I own a version of both and will repeat what everyone else said. The m14 is a battle rifle. The FNAR is a target rifle. I like the FNAR better for shooting off a bench, though the m14 has nice irons. It's like comparing a jeep to a mustang... not really in the same class. Neither is a bad...
Ignoring all the HK back and forths. (geez they can't even load a magazine right!) I don't know the purpose of have a roller delayed blowback AR. It seems like a fix for a problem that doesn't exist.
Good luck, my dad just went through a few blood clots and a couple heart stints. He is on all kinds of thinners. I would def. ask the doctor. I'm sure shooting .22 rf won't hurt you. If my dad is any indication you will bruise very easily, I wouldn't try shooting magnums. If your doctor...
I know nassau has a sign up with some kind of loan information. As someone who has a lot of debt himself I STRONGLY RECCOMEND saving up the cash. Don't buy toys on credit. Credit is for a house and possibly a car. That is all. You WILL regret it!
That said, have fun!
ps ZOOOOOOMBIEEEE...
I have a 2x 9000L. It's a nice, underrated scope. The only negative is the field of view is kind of small, but you can keep both eyes open and it's parralax free. It really is a great scout scope.

This maybe?
I use these for 55 gr. though. Little more, but probably better expansion.

Yes. I would really doubt that slings are used on any regular basis with the way the military currently works. Most incidents you hear about are relatively short and fast. You can watch modern combat videos all over the net. I've never seen a sling being used in those. Also, a great many of...
