I say getting a gun of the same moddel is ok just try to make them different. I really love my S&W 629-5 so when I saw a -1 I jumped all over it. a tecond easy way to make them different is if you are looking to get a H&K get a different varient or if you are getting a Glock buy some accessories...

sabre which version of the 629 is yours? I currently have two 629's. The 629-1 (which I just got) and the 629-5 both with a 3" barrel. yours looks like a combinations of the two of mine.

I also have a 44mag Derringer :what: now that will knock you on your a$$. In fact it did when I let one guy at the range shoot it. With any luck I will be adding a 329PD & 629 4" before the end of the year.

As of right now I already have a Glock 30 and a H&K Compact 9mm. At some point I will want to get the Glock 21, Glock 17, Glock 26, H&K Compact 45acp, and H&K Tactical. It all just depends on where I start. My gun list is ever growing and that is just the H&K and Glock part.
