Just another person chiming in for the P239. Fits my hand like a glove, and is easy to carry.
P.S. I won't show it this thread. It might have it's feelings hurt. ;)
I payed $600 for my 96 NIB, but it's a Brigadier and has the beefed up slide. It also came with night sites. A little large for CCW so it lives in the small safe under my bed as my first line home defense weapon. Smooth and accurate. I love it.
Leupold
Why? Because they have the best customer service, no question warranty, and best product for the dollar IMHO. Another plus, I live 10 miles from their factory. :)
I ordered an post-ban Bushy M-4 A3 16" 9 1/2 weeks ago. I'm a patient person, but this is a tough one. My FFL dealer that I ordered through told me 2 weeks ago that BM was having a barrel problem. They got a bunch of 16" barrel that had problems.
Anyone hear of this so called Problem...
I took a nice little buck with mine this year. Mines chambered in 30-06, with a Leupold Vari-X II 3-9 on it. I also have the synthetic stock. Great rifle.
Two great scopes
I'd personally get the leupold, simply because of the warranty. Plus, I only live 15 minutes from the factory, so if I ever have a problem I can drive my scopes over there and get a new ones.
I like the 30-06. The loads available for the 30-06 are superior. Also, besides the premium bullets, you have the high energy loads, that will push you close to the 300 Win.
What's confusing?
We have 6 hunters
1 uses a .308
2 use a 30-06
2 use a 300 win
1 uses a 300 wea
We all use the same bullet size.
I'm not saying that the 30-06 is the same as the 300 Wea power wise. Again we all fire .308 diameter 180gr bullets.
