    Pepper Spray

Suggest looking here... In the Non-Firearms Weapons category, there is this thread on Mace/pepper spray. There is also likely to be a few other OC discussion threads in the overall category. -Cheers

What do you carry when you can't carry?

You forget, as an EMT you can administer "oxygen therapy" as well as supplemental iron via osmosis. Or if the portable 2000mL O2 tank is empty, just the iron supplement. On a more serious note, there are a number of common, or not so common but sensible non-weapons that can be used...

    Stealth baseball bat?

Stealth baseball bat for HD? I'm actually surprised at members suggestions... Going to the effort required to manufacture a "beatstick", with the intention that it doesn't at first glance look like a beatstick sounds to me like an unnecessary waste of time, money and effort. If one wants...

Is The Taurus 4510 "Judge" a good defense weapon

As an aside, I heard back from Buffalo Bore. A heavy .45 Colt +P (the 260gr JHP @1450fps) cannot be used in the Judge. I will have to then decide what to do with the box I have. -Cheers

Is The Taurus 4510 "Judge" a good defense weapon

For some of us, the Judge isn't too big to carry concealed, and being able to fire .410 also adds a little more variety. However, there is indeed a 12-gauge & 00 buck in the bedroom for the uninvited guests...

Is The Taurus 4510 "Judge" a good defense weapon

At this stage in the game, I'm in the process of doing two things. 1. Trying different rounds to see which ones I like to shoot (and won't mind cleaning up after...) 2. Finding a good home & personal defense carry load. My requirements for the two are obviously going to be a wee bit...

Is The Taurus 4510 "Judge" a good defense weapon

Having purchased a 3" Judge for HD/CC, I am wondering what would be a good carry load, just in case. I would not consider using any 0.410 shell, given their tendency to spread. I have been doing pattern testing to see what the spread is at around 25 ft. For all of the different sized shot...

    taurus revolvers?

Now for the other side... I have a 3" Ultralight Judge, which when I received NIB, was only able to fit rounds in two of the five chambers. The other three couldn't carry a cartridge due to the extractor rod (or whatever the star piece on end of the rod is called...) being out of spec. It...

    Ithaca 37 questions

Thank you Black Talon, the gun is even older than I had initially thought. I had originally estimated it's product between 1955-1960. I will start a search for the assembly manual, that is what I was/am really looking for, removing the barrel is easy enough, but I don't wish to remove...

    Ithaca 37 questions

Ithaca Model 37-R questions Would be interested in finding out the year of production for serial# 32297. Also am looking for a manual for the Model 37-R 12 gauge 2 3/4 inch, so far no success looking online. Lastly in need of advice. Inherited one that was not properly cleaned/stored and...
