I did it! I got my prints done, at last. They wanted me back to have them done digitally, should be quicker. They did say it should have cost me more than $74.25, but because "the state" screwed up they wont charge me.

Good stuff :-) Hoping my "accountant" will be ok with mine too. So this time I purchase a rifle at Cabellas, I will not have to return it 5 weeks later, after finding out that I shouldnt have got one. I didnt know that it was illegal either, but they compensated me very well.

I just drove 15 miles to our local Police dept, only to be told they dont do the fingerprinting there, I have to go to Lacey (another 15 miles). So I get there and they confere between each other, and say I have to go to Olympia (another 10 miles). I get there and the guy says they do not issue...

I dont think we have a UK consulate in Washington. I talked to DOL and the lady said I would be ok without a copy of criminal history. This will save some time. WTG MD you deserve getting the first license, you have been very helpful to all in getting to where we are. Thank you. Tim
