i have the Ruger American Ranch in 5.56. it has exceeded my expectations. even shoots Cheap wolf at about 1 inch. love that it takes AR mags. I have 5 rounders i use for it
My wifes Sig 228 has over 20,000 rounds through it without A single Failure.
I am in the process of switching to 9mm carry gun because of arthritic hands also. I went with the CZ 75 B. I don't mind the weight and find the CZ fits me better.
16Turbo. I just tuned up my other CZ 75 B with that kit and the race hammer and adjustable sear. Along with some polishing the double action is very smooth and the single action pull is excellent. A very worthwhile project.
I did use the blue spring
This is my second CZ 75 B in three weeks. The trigger on this one is much better than the new one I bought. I had glanced at this one before I bought the new one. I was turned off by the camo not wanting A well used gun because this was to be my new carry gun. I stopped back in yesterday and...
CGW parts are installed. Did some polishing on related areas.Single action pull is under 4lbs and zero creep. double action is A little heavier than I would like but very smooth throughout the pull. Overall I am very happy.
OK! I talked to A nice fellow at CGW today. Got hammer kit and everything he suggested.
Not even sure what I bought. He assures me A nice trigger. $184. that I had not planned on but WTH. I really want this gun to work for me. Will post results when its done.
Thanks for the replies. The double action pull is terrible Got to be 15 lbs. The pull weight on single is not that bad but has literally 1/4" of creep. I also am used to tuned 1911 and Smith and Wesson triggers. I can not live with this. Think I will talk to CGW before I order anything to see...
Got A new CZ 75 B 9mm Last week. I have put near 500 rounds through it now. I like the gun.It is accurate and handles well.
The trigger is lousy to be kind. Has anyone used the Cajun Gun Works Race hammer and adjustable sear? That along with some polishing on the double action parts looks like...
When I took my concealed weapons class They had us shooting at large silhouette targets. at 7 yards. we shot 50 rounds if I remember right. The lady to my right did not hit her target once.
The .45 colt is great if you reload. Hard to find loaded hunting ammo for it. 300 grain bullets over near max loads of H110 will kill any deer cleanly. So much faster to reload than rifle cartridges.
