I hate to bring in the concepts of video games, especially with respect to shooters, but if you've ever had to fight multiple assailants -- such as running across three enemies unexpectedly and all of them expecting...
Some several years back,
I've fired a Mossberg 590A1 12 gauge indoors (a shoot-house, doorways with no doors and windows busted out all throughout) several times (30-40 rounds maybe?) using low-recoil rounds -- without hearing protection. There was no piercing stabbing pain in my ears. Just...
I'm ambivalent about the paranoia factor, but I don't post much anything anymore because of certain over-zealotry that exists here. Especially in General Guns.
Looks like a USP Compact. With rails that ride inside of the frame per usual CZ style.
You know... I create guns for a role playing sim in Second Life.
And it looks an awful lot like what I came up with for a sidearm late last year.
I blended a CZ-75 with a USP and a 1911.
Crazy.

Look at how they dressed this kid up in a baggy t-shirt. I'm sure some of us know what a discipline carrying a firearm can be.... that includes making modifications to our fashion and lifestyle...
Don't put words in my mouth, dude. I didn't say that happened all the time, neither did I say it happened infrequently. I said it simply happens. So chill on the uselessly defensive crap and either answer the post in its entirety or just ignore all of its valid points like most people do. Jesus.
No, it's not cop bashing.
"Policy" and "procedure," in any line of work, are simply an excuse to be lazy. Cops just want to go home at the end of the day, like other dudes who work long, hard shifts. But they also want to go home early, or get to the bar with their buddies, or make it home to...
This, and the other thread, both belong in the ACTIVISM forum at this point.
I'm with the people who say you need to get over yourself. I've given some serious thought to withdrawing from these online gun communities specifically because of perspectives like yours, bogie.
I didn't sign up to...

No regrets. Not when I consciously decided to accept the consequences before doing it, not while I was doing it, and not now. And I never will regret doing it. I would have rather dealt with the fallout in court after *needing* it for self-defense...
Hee. This thread makes me giggle.
Good work, yo. I've done something similar several years ago shortly before turning 21. And before that, I simply carried illegally. Risk versus reward, etc. After turning 21, I merely applied for an NC CCW permit and voila, four weeks later, I get...

Yeah..........
If you want to watch the video, bear in mind that it's not safe for the workplace.
"The Mac-10, which resembles the automatic Uzi, is a semi-automatic machine pistol that fires .45-caliber...
I've actually had some mundane dreams where I'm roaming about, satisfied knowing I'm carrying my pistol and that it's there for me if a situation arises where I need it.
A few times, I do remember casually and calmly reaching for it, aiming, and popping off a few rounds. Unfortunately, I can't...
While it is not a rifle caliber pistol, I've carried my MPA30 9mm (M-11 clone that takes sten-mags) in a briefcase in the passenger seat of my vehicle plenty of times before -- and not for any particular high-security reason. Simply because I felt like doing it (much to the chagrin of...
Mmm... I'm thinking more along the lines of what is generally "legal" -- since most states that allow concealed carry apply the provision to pistols only (in quotes because, technically, force on force self-defense is allowed by the law, but it doesn't stop people from getting prosecuted....).
