The local gun shop has this used in synthetic and stainless barrel. It comes with a Tasco scope (I think its Tasco). His price is $175. I would like to know if the quality in dependable and durability are any good in this mossberg. What is good? What breaks? And or what ever? Thanks in advance.

Yes new cases. If you look at Winchesters cases anyway, they do have flat spots on the mouth. They are not round at all right out of a new bag. So I use the sizing ball only in the die. Deburring because the mouth is rough, that I have folded the brass in with the bullet before.

Resize first. It's not impossible to see a difference in length of your case in a before and after it goes in your sizing die. So if you size first, then trim, You will know for sure what's going in your gun. That's 223 and all.

The reason I use it, is to square off the pocket. I find that Winchester cases have a radius that the primer will not set to the bottom of the pocket. I don't over do it when I do use it. Just a turn or two. I myself hardly have any issues of this with once or, twice fires ones.
