Well, I had $500 limit. I almost doubled it with this little gem. :) Thanks for all the help. I really decided that I need a good long gun. Next is going to be a dillon progressive and a couple of caliber conversions. That will have to be next month though. :)

I got myself a Ruger Bearcat. It is like new and was only $200. I couldn't pass it up. I thought I did pretty good. Now I just have to wait for my 9 month old son to grow into it. :D

The P-01 has a bit smaller barrel and grip. For me the P-01 was just a bit more ergonomic.....I'm not sure why. As for accuracy, both are more accurate than I am. Both are also very very reliable. However, the P-01 did go through the Nato test and exceeded NATO standards..

I don't know of one off hand that would be better for carry but, I will say, with do replace it, you might replace the disconnecter and sear as well. Those three parts are mated to work together and when you replace one its always a good idea to replace the rest.

The followers came out of 9mm EAA Witness mags. You may be able to get some from EAA. I don't know the part number though. clipse

Flashlight is a HDS EDC U60. Very very nice light. Pricey too. I had it upgraded with a Seoul SSC P4 LED (like what is used in the Surefire G2L). All together it cost me about $230. It is well worth it though. Puts out about 150 lumens on hight. (real lumens not just bloated advertised lumens)...
