Well, I would agree with you that this is one of the scenarios that could happen. But, there is another possibility, that things get bad enough for people to use all of the guns and ammo that they have been stockpiling. Where it would go from there? Who knows? I hope your assessment is...
I don't own a .380, but I called around to all the major stores in Houston (besides Walmart) last week for a few family members and there was only one place that had any and they were limiting it to 1 box per person... :(
I would not own a little .380 myself. I like my Rohrbaugh R9. :D
I recently had someone tell me that Eotech designed the 512 to be used on shotguns and that they were not meant for the AR platform. He recommended to a friend of mine that he purchase a 516 instead of a 512 as it was designed for the AR platform. He also said the dot on the 516 was 4mm higher...
Ranch Rifles are a lot of fun to shoot. I went with the Mini 30 as I already owned a nice AR. Although my father owns a Mini 14 Target and it's plenty accurate.
My Mini 30 looks almost identical to the one above. I have the same 3-9x40 Prostaff on mine as well.
Something to think...
I think you should stock up no matter who wins the election. McCain supports background checks for buyers at gun shows and does not even own a firearm. Obama's record is even worse as we all know. If you are voting for one of the major candidates you are voting Yes or Yes for gun control.
I shoot Corbon DPX 115 GR and they fire reliably, but if your gun is finicky with any JHP give the Pow'Rball a try I have never had one problem with them feeding.
