The CZ P-01 is a wonderful firearm - simplicity at its best. I highly recommend it.

My P-01 is difficult to rack the slide on, as well. I do think this will improve with practice, and there are techniques which can make the process easier (ie: pulling the slide back, while "pushing" the frame forward, in a safe direction and manner, with your finger OFF the trigger).

I like all-metal guns, hence I purchased a CZ 75 P-01. Well, it is almost all-metal. The guide rod is plastic, but that is easily remedied with an aftermarket stainless steel rod.

A local shop had a P-06, last time I checked. I went with the P-01 since the cost of 9mm ammo is cheaper.

You might check out Blade-tech holsters - they are relatively inexpensive. For just a few dollars more, though, you can get a Minotaur holster that is very nice ($80).

Me, too, mr.trooper. I have a CZ 75 P-01, and it was a "tack-driver" right out of the box, with no issues whatsoever.

Magazines drop free from the CZ 75 P-01, too.

CZ 75 P-01 is a NATO approved firearm. I'd say that qualifies.
