    Shot size?

Normally I don't much like this outfit, but if you're wanting to buy the shot only, try here: http://www.ballisticproducts.com/ They have the odd sizes, but their prices are astronomical. DC

which 12ga shotshell to use for american trap?

If you're tossing the empties, just about anything will do. If you get serious about Trap and decide to reload, then buy Remingtons. DC

If you want to see a Dram-Equivalent chart, I posted one here (Reply #10): http://www.thefiringline.com/forums/showthread.php?t=342973 It’s for 12 Gauge. DC

Substitute for Black Cloud wads ?

This is a Federal "Flite Control" wad. I think they use the same thing in their "Black Cloud". The side panels open and strip the shotcup from the shot. The open tail fins also slow the wad. Might be able to take an unslit wad and cut it to try to duplicate the performance. I've still got a...

    high brass lead shot

It is refering to the hull. Federal calls it "Game-Shok High Brass". It is a lead shot load in a high brass hull. 1 1/4 ounce load at 1,330 FPS. DC

    shotshell powder

Green Dot. I've used it for 40 years, hot and sub-zero temps, never had a problem with it. Red Dot or Promo would be a little cheaper but Green Dot is my favorite. DC

    Cutting a regular load???

I've run into people who've claimed to do this. I'm not one to call a man a liar unless I'm certain sure, but this "trick" certainly strains any credibility that a person may have. rcmodel says it pretty well. To carry it a little farther, if the shell seperates as supposedly happens, what...

    #7 shot?

I load 7/8 ounce loads of #7 for ruffed grouse and dove shooting. I just like it better than 7 1/2. It's pretty much a handload proposition if you want to shoot 7s. DC

    High brass 12 guage shells

ACTIV hulls had a metal washer for a rim, coated with plastic. Wanda was all plastic. Not always true. Depends on the composition of the shot. I cast my own Buckshot, hard, and the loads show no benefit with buffering. DC

    Shotshell Wad "One Rem SP12"

For 12 Gauge 2 3/4" and 3" guns, Max Avg Pressure is 11,500 PSI. They are proofed between 18,000 and 19,500 PSI. It "breaks" somewhere above that - usually. Keep it to 11,500 PSI or lower, you'll be OK. DC

    Reloading Winchester 2 3/4" 12 guage hulls

I think you're going to have a little trouble with fitting 9 00 Buck pellets into that 114 wad. To fit in layers of 3, you have to remove the petals from the wad. Also, Winchester has discontinued the WAAF114, so you need the Claybuster clone. I load quite a bit of 9 pellet 00, but with...

    Definition of birdshot?

To confuse it a little more, sizes T, TT, F and FF used to be available as lead shot. (T and F lead are still made for reloaders). They were sometimes refered to as "Buckshot".
