    replacing GP100 springs question

    I bought the wolff spring set for my Ruger gp100. The hammer return spring is easy to replace. My question is where do you begin to remove the trigger in order to gain access to the return spring?

    H110 in 44 mag question

    The manuals that I have list 24 grains of H110 when using a 240 gr JHP bullet. I loaded up a few and tried them in a Win 94. I get a very small but noticeable cratering of the primer with that load. I backed off to 23.8 grains and am still cratering a little. I guess I can continue to back...

    Ruger Security Six spring..cut?

    If I cut the spring inside the handle of the Security Six, it appears that that will reduce the trigger pull which is what I want. It also appears that it will reduce the force with which the hammer falls. Has anybody had any experience here?
