I’ve had one for about 10 years or so. It’s an excellent rifle, zero problems with it. Back in the bump stock days it would empty a magazine in about 2 seconds (probably less than 2) if you held it light enough.
I had High hopes for the P9 I bought New in 2002 ish. It wouldn’t shoot a mag without a stovepipe. I Called Kahr‘s CS and they said that some guns do that and to increase the breakin to 500 rounds and see if that helps. I got So frustrated even trying to got to 500 rounds I sold It for a loss.
I have an older Japanese made SKB that is quite nice and a Yildiz from Academy that's functional, but no frills.
I do like the CZ branded guns made in Turkey, they are worth a look.

If the three of them had received 1 to 2 hits per person ( assuming an outstanding hit ratio under stress) their determination and plans probably would have changed a bit.
