    Walther P22 Opinions

I like mine. It is a very fun, light, little gun.

    A day at the range....AGGHHHHH

Anyone who shows up to a gun range wearing full tactifool wear is asking to be laughed at. I mean, isn't gun ownership about preparedness for these people? Do they think that when someone breaks into their home and 3 a.m. they are going to have time to slip on their black clothes, gloves and...

    Bullies at the shooting range...

I guess I am just spoiled by the ranges I grew up with. Everyone would shoot for a while, and then you'd look around and say 'it is OK to go cold for a minute?' Then you'd change your targets or whatever you wanted to do, come back and say 'Ok to go hot? Alright everyone the range is now...

    Bullies at the shooting range...

"At our range, where I'm sometimes a range marshal, the rules are that ALL guns be unloaded with actions open behind the firing line when a cease-fire is called. They also require that a yellow plastic flag be placed in the breach so the marshal can see that all guns are clear before letting...

    A Matter of Values

If a criminal enters my home, consider them dead. If a criminal initiates a violent confrontation with me for my money, i.e. armed robbery or car jacking, it would depend on what I thought was safer for myself and my family given the circumstances. I wouldn't give one ounce of weight to the...

    Got in a wreck today

"Do NOT slow down to get someone off your ass. Speed up, even if ya have to do 100mph to get out of their way. If they are stupid enough to tailgate you, they are stupid enough to take out you and several others as well." Horrible advice. I've slowed to 10 or 20 below the speed limit...

Surprising fact: Half of gun deaths are suicides

I am not trying to be harsh, but any person who actually tries to commit suicide by jumping and fails at it is likely a very big idiot. I have jumped from some fairly high places into water, and you get moving so fast it is unbelievable. The chances of surviving even a 6 story drop onto...

Surprising fact: Half of gun deaths are suicides

They only tell you that when it suits their purposes. About 30,000 gun deaths annually, less than half are murder. For comparison, DUI kill 19,000 per year, alcohol overall kills 75,000, yet no one is calling for a ban on alcohol. The question remains: does limited access to guns reduce...

His Majesty, Sir Richard, on Heller...

Lets see, a second-rate newspaper hack is critiquing the legal opinion of five of the most brilliant legal minds in America today. Does anyone really buy into this garbage?

The recent trend toward accessory rails is a bad one.

The subcompact Glocks don't have rails. Or at least my G26 doesn't.

NY: Brady Campaign plans a call-in day to encourage microstamping

I think the Brady Campaign's name is appropriate. All their statistics neglect total violence, which increases in the event of a gun ban. Instead they focus on gun violence, which may or may not decrease in the wake of a gun ban.
