Due to a recent motorcycle wreck I have a broken leg and need a crutch and also a broken wrist. I now have a cowboy style gunbelt on the bedpost that I can wear like a shoulder holster if need be. Before the injury no.

I like my shockwave, the shape of the grip transfers recoil a lot better imho.

I've carried a small sog for the last 15?ish years. I also have the large powerlock but it's too heavy for belt carry for me. I've used leathermans and sometimes gerbers but for some reason not nearly as much as the small sog

If yours shoots like mine which is also set up similar and is next t the bed, i'd say its a good setup.

If you shop used you can get 3 or 4 shotguns for the price of 1 ar. They both shine in different areas, the shotgun is much more versatile. If It was my pocketbook i'd get the shotguns and then work on the ar's.

Wouldn't it be super easy to make mini shells by hand?

I'd try to have a loaner lined up, but if it was me i'd look for an ugly but serviceable bird gun cheap. If you decide you like duck hunting you can save for a nice bird gun if you like and keep to beat up one to loan out......if you really like duck hunting, you'll need it for newbies...

I like the grip on the shockwave better than a conventional pistol grip. Its more comfortable to hip shoot that way for me.
