12 lee Slug I use 18 gr Red Dot, Claybuster replacement for ww12sl (pink), 7/8 oz Lee slug.You must put somthing under the slug so the crimp comes out right.I punch out cardboard disks and stack them till the crimp comes right.--------------------Good shooting Papa Smurf

Best for newbie Lee all the way. In 2000 I had a fire that took away everything but my wife and dog. Before the fire I had a lot of equipment from most all the major companies. I now have just Lee and is serves me quite well. You can allways "up grade" as you learn. Been loading since I was 16...

Red Dot in .357 Been using 3.5 gr Red Dot in my .357 blackhawk ,get 800f/s with Lee 158 gr round nose and semiwadcutter,the round nose seems to do a little better. Also use 3.5 in my 30-30 with 130 gr Lee,shoot as cast lubed with Lee alox and NO gas check, great squirrel load.-----good...

rusty bore ! kerosene and fine steel wool----- cleaned up some made in the 1800's that way.
