I use 18 gr Red Dot, Claybuster replacement for ww12sl (pink), 7/8 oz Lee slug.You must put somthing under the slug so the crimp comes out right.I punch out cardboard disks and stack them till the crimp comes right.--------------------Good shooting Papa Smurf
I have quite a few fired case I would like to reload. They have the head stamp OFV 00 7.62 M80 Could anyone tell me if they were corrosive primed? Thanks Papa Smurf

Lee all the way. In 2000 I had a fire that took away everything but my wife and dog. Before the fire I had a lot of equipment from most all the major companies. I now have just Lee and is serves me quite well. You can allways "up grade" as you learn. Been loading since I was 16...

If the first question you ask if your planning to reload is "how fast can I push this bullet" you should not be permited to reload!!!!!!! Papa Smurf.
Red Dot in .357
Been using 3.5 gr Red Dot in my .357 blackhawk ,get 800f/s with Lee 158 gr round nose and semiwadcutter,the round nose seems to do a little better.
Also use 3.5 in my 30-30 with 130 gr Lee,shoot as cast lubed with Lee alox and NO gas check, great squirrel load.-----good...
