    Ruger PC4 40sw test loads

There is no provision for a magwell adapter block in the older pc9/4 carbines. There was a company in Ohio that used to modify the stock and change the mag release to enable you to use glock magazines. Then they sold the rest of their equipment to LoneWolf who did the conversion for a while but...

    Ruger PC4 40sw test loads

I bought one of the older discontinued PC40 carbines a year ago because they where easier to find and slightly cheaper than the 9mm version and also the while I'm not a big fan of the .40 cal in a pistol it really does shine in a rifle length barrel because it holds more powder than the 9mm and...

    Walmart Ammo Test

I like the overall quality of Winchester better but the Remington bullet construction looks like it lends itself to better expansion with more exposed lead and deeper hollow point.

    Walmart Ammo Test

I think I have seen that test. A guy shooting off a ladder into a 55 gallon drum? Milk jugs are a little better. Water test over exaggerate expansion including rounds that normally don't expand at all like Magtech or super short barreled .380's. I would prefer wetpack or calibrated gelatin.

    Walmart Ammo Test

Are there any gel test for the SJHP 38 special 125 +p Winchester USA USA38JHP and Remington UMC L38S2B ? I know there is better SD ammo out there but I picked up a couple boxes for my stash. I prefer the Winchester but the Remington was pretty cheap for HP at $28 for 100 . I am mainly...

    S&W 10-5 grips

I like the round grip snubs but i have a 4" model that is a keeper. Houge is nice but I was thinking something more like these Nill Griffe adjustable Target/Competition sights. I'm assuming all square K-frame and possibly L-frame grips will fit?

    S&W 10-5 grips

I am looking for some grips for my beautiful 1969 square but S&W 10-5. This gun is a tack driver and a joy to shoot but i don't like the boot style grips. I would have preferred a round but bird head style grip like on my J-frames. Houge makes a nice over mold grip but that would take away...

    S&W Titanium Cylinder damage..***

Manual states against using abrasive cleaners on Titanium as it will wear away the protective finish and lead to rapid erosion or what not. I thought lead away cloth was chemically powered but if it is an abrasive that is a no-no.

breakfree clp or rem oil or hoppes oil

Every time there is a "best lubricant" debate it always turns into a best "corrosion resistance" argument. When i think of a gun oil i want what prevents the most friction and galling on the action of the gun, not whatsgoing to be put on the outside for rust prevention. Those are two completely...

If you dont conceal your weapon, can you be charged with a concealed weapon?

Do you have to use a holster for concealed IWB in MS? Sometimes i use a gun mounted belt clip. What about car carry? Sometimes i throw a pistol in my glove box or center console. I would hate to have to use two hands to pop the gun out of a fobus or something if i needed it. I was pretty sure TN...

    380 PLEASE-Which One?

I like big .380s like my 84 Cheetah. Very accurate and i like the 92 style action reliability and trigger. If im limited to a .380 i would rather have a 3.9" barrel than a 2" micro pistol granted it would be more like trying to conceal a Glock 19 but 13+1 is nice too. They also have a single...

breakfree clp or rem oil or hoppes oil

Mobile-1 and BreakFree CLP contain the same base synthetic lubricant. CLP just has additives for more corrosion resistance, ect. I prefer straight mobile on the insides but i use hoppes elite or something on the outside for corrosion. I will switch to BreakFree CLP to wipe down the outside of my...

AR, AL, TN, IN, MS, MO: any CCW quirks I should be aware of?

I thought i read no Church carry in the newer MS packet/laws but that should be up to the discretion of each church. I guess it falls into the "public gathering" category.

    Pmags

I prefer a but load of USGI aluminum mags or steel like H&K mags but also have a layout of Pmags and think Magpul uses the best polymer of all the magazine makers. Better than ProMag,Bakelite,Zetyle,Thermould,Tapco,Lancer, ect.
