Hello,
I'm looking for a replacement sliding poise for a ohaus dial o grain scale. Specifically the smaller 0-100 grain poise. Does anyone know where to get one? Or maybe I could fashion something up if I knew how much it weighs. Thank you
I like them for testing loads and sighting in rifles. I prefer the sleds with interchangeable bags at the front and not a fixed rubber cradle. Also, I don't strap down the front of my rifles so they can still recoil up independently from the sled.
I have a bunch of brass from Hornady lever evolution rounds. They're a littl shorter to accommodate a spritzer bullet. All once fired and clean. If you can use them and want to pay shipping I'll send them to you.
I use the mtm high-low table. It is pretty good, I expensive, and does the job. In my opinion it needs a support at the rear of the table to make it truly stable. So I use shooting sticks and it works great after that.
A 1.5-5 power scope is about perfect for me. I also have a 1.75-6 which works well. A nice light fast rifle and shoots out to 300 plus aren't bad off sticks if you practice
Here is my opinion and the techniques I use for coyote calling
*Rifle with scope. Less is more when it come to magnification. Out west here you might not see a coyote until it is 20 yards in. Running shots are common so big fov is the most important factor. For the rifle I suggest staying light...
I've sold on gunbroker a couple dozen times. I've had sellers email me asking why I haven't shipped before I ever even recieved payment in the mail. Not saying that's what's happening. I just just think people have grown accustomed to instant shipping. Give him a couple more days.
Leupold mark iv 3.5-10x40, that's what I have on my dakota 76 in 330 dakota. I was limited what I could mount because of the rear sight and had to keep it under 40ish mm. I also value fov over high end magnification . And I prefer not to spend a lot of money if I can avoid it. I wanted a long...
It happens to me occasionally. I shot a doe in wyoming a couple years ago.i had a buck tag last October and took it out to verify my zero. First three shots were all over the place. I've gotten to the point I can tell if something is loose by how it shoots. Sure enough the front scope base was...
I had the lee press mounted trimmer before I bought the wilson/sinclair and I hated it. The wilson is really nice and accurate and it leaves the neck perfectly square. I really only reload for bolt action hunting rifles though so it's ok if it's slower because I want precision over anything...
Oh yeah they are great scopes. Mine is just a standard duplex that I got off a local classifieds site for cheap. I do have a vari xiii with a german #1 that is my all time favorite scope. It sits on my kimber 243 and I use it for coyotes and occasionally one doe hunts.
