I'll agree with gamestalker on the 90 grainers and the IMR-4350. Very accurate in my rifle.
For the 130's I've tried a bunch of powders and have found it easy to get big game hunting accuracy very easy with any of the common powders but my rifle leans towards the slower powders like RL22.

The atlatl is an approved weapon for deer hunting in Missouri. I read last year or early this year that someone had the first successful hunt with one here.
Not something I plan on hunting with, but I might try building one this winter just to play with.

I like my PPU brass but I've never checked it for volume.
As rc pointed out you changed a couple of components. I've seen the bearing surface of the bullet make a surprising difference in what a max load is.
We had the hottest day ever on record here today. Unless your someplace I wish I...
Several years ago, Hodgdon offered packs with 4 1/4 pound bottles of powder in the same range. Sounded like a great idea to me, test the same bullet with Varget, 4895 4350..., It didn't work out from a sales side.
Your idea is sound, but I'm not sure the market is there for it.

And you see how many C&R 1911's?
My Model 70 is over 50 years old. Is it C&R?
I don't think your going to be seeing AR's for sale to C&R's.
How many of us, besides rcmodel, might have one that old? :D

Take a piece of filler rod or even an old metal coat hanger and heat it red and burn it out of there.
I can't wrap my head around adding a patch to something that is a great big patch.

With the current 100°+ temps, don't forget about mirage off the barrel and at the target.
Use your current shooting time as practice to see what it is really doing when the temps change. You may be fine or your rifle may move a lot.

I've never seen one in that caliber. The ammo is still made by Winchester and CCI on limited runs.
I'm not much of a judge on value. But if the bore and crown are still in good shape, it should be a pretty good shooter.

i don't shoot to many shotgun rounds these days but I do have some of their reloader starter packs. 25 new hulls with 25 wads in a box with load data. I have several in 20 and 12 gauge.
I also have an old footlocker full of Eclipse brand (or something like that) 12 gauge green and reddish...
For hunting skill I have to go with the squirrels. For eating, I like the rabbits.
When I was younger and hunting farther north in Kansas the squirrels ate oak and hickory most of the year and tasted pretty good. In the same area the rabbits had good clover and grasses to eat.
Were I live in...
If your working with brass over a 30+ year span you might have to check volume also. Some of my older .222 brass has noticeably less capacity.
I use a little slower powder in mine but I think H322 should get you there. If you haven't already, make sure the bore is clean and the crown hasn't...
