I kind of agree. The 300 Hamr hasn’t really gained the traction and I don’t see it doing much more. Like of like the 30 REM AR that came and went so quickly.

7x57 would probably be my choice also. Those Yugo Mauser actions were strong. You'd have the ability to seat bullets out really long and you'd definitely be able to surpass the modern 7mm08 performance that way. 257 Roberts would probably be my second choice.

So it's not just specific to the Predator version then like I said? Ruger has probably the best customer service and warranty in the business. I'd want to know how many people have utilized their warranty and exhausted that process.

I've got a sample size of 2 and have not experienced any extraction issues with either to this point. And I'm not sure how the Predator models have a history when the action is the same as non-Predator models and those models don't have any significant issues with extraction.
