For a good aftermarket grip check out www.eaglegrips.com they have a very good selection of grips for S&W's, I really like my coke bottles that I got from them.

After a lot of thought I'd have to say my 5" m29 Smith. For general purpose carry/use loaded with a 250 grn LSWC pushed at 900 fps, and for hunting situations (it doesn't matter if I'm the one hunting or the one being hunted) a 250 grn hard cast LSWC with gas check pushed at 1200 fps.

Of the two M1 carbines that I have (Rock Ola and Standard Arms) the Rockola is the more accurate of the two. However if we include my M2 Inland then the Inland is the most accurate.

I have used Environ Metal HS and Remington HS before i started loading my own. What I found out was that (this is in my Browning A-5 Stalker mag. 12) I had to buy a Briley IC choke. The Browning (and Winchester SX2) chokes are really, really loose for what they are marked. I found that 1 1/4 oz...
Frodo I've got a C. Sharps 1874 and love it, but for a pure hunting rifle (with either a scope or reciver mounted peep sight) the Marlin 1895 CB is hard to beat.
