I´ve just got my hands on a Lyman 452374 Hollow Point mould and have already casted some nice boolits, they came out weighing at 186-188 grains from straight WW.
Due to the lack of information for these bullet in the books I own, I would like to know from any of you guys with much more...
Good day to you all. I would really appreciate your help with these bullets. No logic with OAL, they always touch the lands of my Lone Wolf Barrel and don´t allow the gun go into full battery. I even tried them on my stock Glock barrel with no success either.
First, the 452-230-TC, I´ve always...
I would very much appreciate it if yuo guys could help me with a load for this bullet and powder. I´ve used the search tool but it is very confusing for I´ve seen charges ranging from 4.9 to 5.7 gr. I´m looking for a charge that will give me aproximately 750-820 fps.
Any help is greatly...
I´ve just made 1500 perfectly good boolits out of this mold and will be loading them up soon. But it has been difficult to find data on OAL for this boolit. Anyone who uses it that could help me please? I´ll be using W231.
I´m firing out of a Sig 226. My data coms from the Lyman´s 48th. As stated, max load is 4.4 gr. for the 120 TC Lead bullet and 4.1 for the RN Lead Bullet.
Using Lee 356-124-2R, Win SP, 4.0 gr. W 231, Mixed brass1.10" OAL, but I cant get them over 960 fps average, thus I cant make it in to MINOR. Any suggestions? Thanks.

I´m trying yo load some boolits from Lee Mold 365-125-2R but I have confusing data in respecto to OAL. Lee reloading manual states a min OAL for a 125 gr. Lead Bullet as 1.100"- 1.115". Lyman 48th on the other hand states an OAL for it´s 120gr. Lead Bullet of 1.065".
I´m using w231 and would...
Yes I can manually cycle the gun, in factI thought everything was going to be ok. I cycled 2 magazines without a problem.
Many of us here have used International, with good results (when it is the only thing we can grab).
The extractor is just fine (no problems with other handloads) and I...
Yes. Thats the first consideration I´m having. The most I can shorten COL is about 0.15/0.20", and adjust powder measure. Do you think this might work?
Believe it or not it is 5.0 gr. of International Clays. Due to the shortage of powder in my country, we´ve found out that it can be used reliably in handguns. Under 230 gr. FMJ we can use it from 4.8 to 5.6 gr. 5.2 gr. and 1.250 COL it shoots at 760 fps (my mayor). Very clean powder, in that...
Yesterday I went to crono my first bullets from Lyman Mold 452630 200 gr. siezed at .451. It is a TC boolit, to fire in my Glock 30 with LW barrel. The bullet was seated at COL 1.235" and was averaging 840 fps. In ne shot in every magazine I shot, third or fourth bullet I was getting FTE...
