Hey all I've been toying with the idea of getting a smaller handgun just to carry in my truck or back pocket, I know everybody likes different ones but I'm just lookin for some ideas.

Hi all, I have a question about putting a muzzle brake on my new gun and my brother told me to log in here under his name and ask cause he's at work, he didn't have time to answer it.
I just bought a savage 116 FXP3 in .338 win mag today and was wondering how i can put a muzzle brake on her...
he is looking for an out west only gun being that he already has a 270. (which i said would work fine) but he just wants to get a new gun and i dont blame him:)
he seems to like the BAR my dad has but its still not and a-bolt and every gun is different ive tried to tell him but he only hears...
my brother is going to buy this rifle .... for 550 bucks ... and he wants to know what some people think of em'

a buddy of mine uses 150 grain core lokts through his remi 700
i used to use 150 grain core lokts through my remi 721
he blows holes in whitetails half the size of my head
i drop'em dead with holes the size of a quarter
... any who they work great either way but i still dont get it
i just want to be prepared for anything out to 500 yards, knowing the trajectory isnt a problem the book tells you basically everything about every bullet in every caliber :) im using 180 grain swift scirocco for deer which i thought was too heavy for yotes
