    The snakes have un-hibernated

""One maybe-water-mocassin" You sound a little dangerous. Any non shooter reading Your post could get the idea we are all that way." ? Did he shoot the snake, or just see it in the pond?

    Meijers and guns

Not in Indiana yet. I was there yesterday. They do sell a good variety of rifle and pistol ammo. I've purchased 7.62x39 and .223 from them.

AR on a budget: How good is RRA? (and other questions)

Oly's are better built, more accurate, better warrantied and cheaper AR than ANYTHING ELSE AVAILABLE. If anyone can disprove this, I would love to hear it. :neener: Just kidding. I've never messed with an RRA, so I can't say much about them, other than I've heard nothing but good things.

AR on a budget: How good is RRA? (and other questions)

I would shop around. I like my Model 1 and my Oly. No problem at all. 100% reliable. They cost a lot less too. Check out these other sites for some great info and great deals. http://www.ar15.com http://www.model1sales.com http://www.olyarms.com/usa.html

    .357 Silvertips for whitetails?

I would use a heavy hard cast lead bullet. I wouldn't use .357 hollow points on deer, because I don't think you'll get the penetration you'll need to drop it quickly.

"Soak squirrel pieces in milk, then roll them in flour flavored with a liberial amount of season salt and black pepper." That word isn't allowed here! :cuss:

    Getting M-44

I love mine. They're loud and throw one heck of a flame. Recoil isn't bad. Pretty accurate too.

    Who uses a range finder?

There's a pretty good article on the pros and cons of laser ranging in the Oct. 2004 issue of Bowhunting magazine. It makes alot of pretty good points, in my opinion. I'm still gonna use mine though :D

    Kerrys Deer Hunting Technique

Since 1995, but I think he had some money before that. I just don't see that dude as a hunter of any type. He's a gun hunter, as in, he's gonna be hunting for our guns.

    Who uses a range finder?

I have the Bushnell yardage pro trophy. I like everything about it but the black readout. Hard to beat for $199.

14000 Indiana CCW'ers may be "outed"; please help

I voted NO, of course. Here's my comment: I have a better idea. Since these people that have a permit took the legal route to obtain the permit, and they're upstanding members of society, you should leave them alone. Post a list of the criminals that illegally have and carry firearms. Those...

Trust the .380 with your life?

Early last year, one of my brother's friends was shot twice in the head with a .380. I don't know many of the details, but I do know the guy is alive and well, and for some reason, he's recently started attending church every Sunday. I'm sure the 380 will do the job, but I'm gonna carry...

.44 Mag load, ok or not?

Edward429451, I understand. Trust me, I took the hint. I will check them before I take them to the range. I understand about starting and max loads. I just wanted to know if it would hurt my gun or not. Thanks for the advise.
