Camelback makes one called "snowbowl" or something like it I use it UNDER my jacket when I ski. Pretty low profile, might look at them.

you could have it cut for a ramp barrel to get rid of the .45 feed ramp.

I would down grade to 8x42 they are easier to look thru all day and have a better field of view, and are esier to hold steady. I hunt WY's open plains I use 8x42 most of the time I have a set of 10x42 they live in my truck. I'd look at the Nikons, best glass for the money IMHO. Nikon Monarchs...

Yep had one, good holster works well with both 1911s and HPs! Just adjust the tension screws. I gave it to my Dad when I got my Bulman SBS-2 - www.bulmangunleather.com The Galco is nice, but Bulman's is better, same price :) . I do not know if it will work with a HP but it is really fast...
