I have a project in mind and am looking for a gunsmith who could remove the existing barrel on a S&W Model 12 and install a 3" HB. I realize possible damage to the aluminum frame would require someone with the right equipment to do the deed. Any smith's come to mind for this type of work...

I want to install a gold bead front sight on my S&W 629-5 Mountain Gun. It has a 4" barrel w/a pinned front sight. The replacement sights are offered in .300 and .250 heights. Do any of you fine folks know which would be the correct sight for my pistola? Thanks in advance, Ray
