    Birmingham Small Arms Co. (BSA)

I recently acquired this BSA rifle, 30-06 caliber. The rifle has a 22" barrel with a integral brake, flip up iron sights (100/200/300), Parker-Hale scope rings, B. Nickel Marburgil 2.5x6 scope (made in Germany). I did a Internet search, what I came up with was a BSA Majestic Featherweight De...

    Remington 600 D.O.B.

I purchased a Remington 600 (.308) today. It is in fairly good condition. I would rate it 80%. It cleaned up well. Serial number is 3716x. Code on the barrel is "AMV". I'm guessing the DOB is near March 1965? Any information is appreciated. Thanks.:)

    Remington 341-P SportMaster

Just when I thought I've seen everything....... I walk into my local Gun store, the owner had just bought this Remington off a 90 something year old man. The "old man" stated he "bought the Remington new when he was a young man", and he had never shot it. When the old man left, I told the owner...

Bartholmew McGraw's Colt 1908 Pocket Hammerless

Sometimes gun registration ain't so bad.... I recently aquired this Colt 1908 Pocket Hammerless .380 acp. It's just an oridinary Colt Pocket Hammerless. The Colt was manufactured in 1916. Nothing special about it, except it once belonged to Bartholmew McGraw. Now you ask, who is Bartholmew...

    Ruger 10/22 "finger groove"

Recently aquired this Ruger 10/22. It's known as a "finger groove" model. It has a lower serial number 5740x, which dates it to 1966. It also has no Ruger warning stamped on the barrel. The 10/22 was pretty grungy when I got it, but it cleaned up well. On the bottom side of the barrel, under the...

    5.11/BladeTech holster review..

I ordered this 5.11/BladeTech holster a few weeks ago. It's for a Glock 19/23. Initial impression of the holster. It is very well made, and solid. The locking mechanism is very strong, it would take a monster to get the Glock out, without first pushing the thumb release. The holster comes with...

    Ruger 22 Charger

While I'm not a big fan of Rugers, they do come out with some cool stuff. I recently picked up this Ruger 22 Charger (.22LR). It was used, but appears to have never been shot. It came with the case, bi-pod, and manual. I scoped it with a Millett dot scope. I took it to the range this week, and...

    Winchester model 12

I recently aquired this Winchester model 12. Manufactured 1946. It was a real beater, the stock was beat to heck, and the plastic butt plate, while in good shape shrunk badly. The Winchester sported a barrel approximately 27" with a Weaver compensator that has four interchangable chokes. I...

    Pawn Shop Colt 1917 Army

This Colt 1917 (manufactured cir. 1919) started out life as a typical Military Colt revolver. It came from a pawn shop in Columbus, OH. The Colt was a real beater. I recently aquired a S&W 1905 second change, .38 special. When I received the S&W it was fairly clean. I went over it, making sure the revolver was properly cleaned, and oiled. When I took the grips off, I observed some writting on the left grip. It stated "W.R. Fitzgerald Prescott Arizona...
