Your Defensive weapons in the home.

Well, I'm a certifiable gun nut and have loaded guns all over the house. Kids are never in my house. My go to guns are both Mossbergs and are loaded with Brenneke slugs. I don't want to have to shoot something more than a couple of times to end the threat. I live in a daylight basement so...

You might want to check out T.K. Custom. I have their full moon clips for another caliber they are nicer than the Taurus and S&W clips that I have. http://www.tkcustom.com/

There is no reason to have an Assault Rifle--Really?

The Department of Homeland Security says that the AR 15 type rifles are "suitable for personal defense". http://radioviceonline.com/department-of-homeland-security-sport-rifle-ar-15-suitable-for-personal-defense/

    Ar Pistol as "truck gun"

The overall length of an AR15 pistol and a folding stock AK is similar. I have both and the AK is superior to the AR15, except for weight. And carrying it in a truck makes the weight a non issue.

Pulling a gun on a unarmed assailant?

I'm 70. So between the age thing, disparity of force and Alaska castle doctrine, I would have done the two to the chest one to the head. I would rather have to pay for a lawyer than my family having to be doing a funeral.

What is the best 223 battle rifle for me?

Post #5 covers it. I sure like my Colts, though I have had great luck with the Bushmasters. You might want to check out this link to get some in-depth information. http://forums.officer.com/t81462/

    holsters for n.a.a. 2"

I have a leather, IWB holster and a Kydex holster that hangs from a dog tag chain, around my neck. They both do their jobs well. To me, the gun is a novelty, not really a serious self defense gun.

    Frog Lube is Coconut oil.

Frogs supposedly make for a refreshing drink in South America. I'll stick with the usual gun cleaners and Mobil1 Synthetic for my guns.

Anyone got an Iver & Johnson 9mm M-1?

I have one. It takes a modified BHP mag. The mod is just to add a slot so the mag catch on the rifle will hold and release the mag. It's on the other side where the BHP slot is and is still useable in the Browning. It works fine. I have no other info about velocity or accuracy.
