Gun shows are not what they used to be. The last one I went to was mostly "junk"...way too many over-priced used guns, trinkets, etc.
I was ready to leave but when I spotted a large collection of tables in the back with all new guns.
Sorry about the bad news.
Also, wear h.p. at drag strips, circle tracks, etc. Top Fuel and Funny Car,especially, generate pain-level sound (db?) but all of it is very loud.
My old man wasn't there after I was eight (thank God) and my mother was sort of indifferent. She did buy guns (cheap stuff as Christmas presents, twice) for my older brother when he was in his teens. She didn't get one for me but I shot my brother's stuff and a friend's shot gun.
Sounds like it was fun. I'll probably shoot the 9mm sometime this week. Also,a friend just went overseas to work and is concerned about his family's security. I'll let his wife shoot my 12-gauge and keep it there until she buys one.
Not really funny: Years ago I knew a woman who had just moved into a town house. She told me she found a .22 rifle in the basement and called the local police and gave it to them. I asked her why not sell it or give it to a friend. It seems she just wanted to get rid of the evil gun ASAP...
I feel for them and hope they can reverse some of the madness. The low-life perp is out after 18 months while the homeowner languishes in prison.
The USA is getting more socialist as time goes by. What big govt. can't do FOR you, they can do TO you,it seems.
I recently got a 9mm auto (Ruger SR9) and am usng Hoppes solvent and oil on it. I sparingly apply oil to whatever I think needs it. Oil and grease both have there plusses and minuses and there are many lube products to choose from.
The weapon, climate, usage of the firearm are a few of the...
Tigre: Maybe you're right. I'd rather have it not slung at all but what she's riding looks like it could not carry that weapon too well in a long holster. With it slung in front,it seems it would impare her driving ability somewhat.
M2 Carbine: Did you fly it over the Sargasso Sea in the Bermuda Triangle?
Numbers can have meaning, other than the obvious, but most of the time do not,IMO.
Standing would be good;it might cause a tell-tale change in demeanor from them. It would put you in better position, too.
It's getting so you can't trust anyone in any setting. This, however, was an urban area that yuppie-ish folks are trying to change;it'd be foolish not to be on-guard.
Don't have to worry about spotting a moose in Arizona unless it's a moose lizard...ferocious.
I saw a few in 95 when I visited my brother in Anchorage,Ak but they're common up there.
No charges pending for family of moose...or drivers...failure to yield or avoid an accident
not ver-e-fun-ee... I'd hate to hit something that large, even being the 8th or 9th vehicle to do so
edited for content and (yet again, spelling)
I think it was a program on the History channel that had a story about the M-16. One thing I remember the narrator say was that the small round hitting at its high velocity(I remember 3,250 fps m.v. from basic)caused the round to collapse into itself and then fragment after hitting.
