    Winchester .45ACP Brass

Great, so tell me, how does a blind person SEE that? I thought being blind meant that one could not see and, as I pointed out, reading a headstamp with your fingers is pretty hard. We're not all as talented as some people on the Internet clearly are. Are you getting regular Federal brass with...

    Reloading and homeowners insurance

So by that logic, since big banks can pay the ref, it's okay if I tell a few lies to extort money from them. That's okay right? No? Okay, well if they give me $1000 in error, its okay if I don't tell them about the mistake because its better to hide it. They don't pay enough interest anyhow...

    Dillon Tool Head Stands

If you clean the toolhead and the parts when you remove it from the press, you should have no issues. I've got dies in about 15 toolheads and zero rust on dies from Dillon, Hornady, and Redding. It is no worse than leaving your toolhead in the press.

    Winchester .45ACP Brass

Care to place money on that? I'm sure they could hear your sarcasm but not tell the difference in the brass headstamp unless theyc an read inverted "braille" In my experience, Wolf primers are difficult to seat in most brass and Winchester generally have tighter pockets that most. If you were...

    Case Lube

    Loading 45ACP for a GLOCK??

You need to be wherever your Glock cycles as long as it is under the maximum charge according to the reloading manual you are using. What does your reloading manual suggest for a 185gr bullets? Hodgdon shows the jacketd SWC as 5.0 to 5.9 grains. I believe you typically use lead data for...

One Dillon 650, or several Lee Loadmasters?

Dillon, the difference in quality and production is noticeable when compared to Lee. Yes, it will cost you more but in the long run it will be a small portion of your loading cost over the next 10 or 15 years. Never used a LnL but I hear great things, they are cheaper to deck out than the Dillon.

where is the best place to buy bullets

Zero is another good jacketed bullet that, in quantity, can be had for less than or just slightly more than plated prices.

To deprime and size cases prior to vibrate polish or no?

You won't get any cleaning action of the flash hole with vibratory media, so unless you just want to do it, don't waste your time. Polish and then load.

    Primer packaging caution

Tape on the trays is annoying and unnecessary. Just pick them up and be careful, or buy them in the box they were intended to be sold in, i.e. a 1000 block brick. What danger? That you'd have to stoop down and pick them up? They aren't going to explode from being dropped, stepped on, or...

    how does this look?

That is really big corncob, 20/40 is a much better size. Grainger has the same look/link as the site above http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/ECONOLINE-Blast-Media-2MVR5?Pid=search Honestly, I'm going to go try one grit higher on the corncob because while the 20/40 works well it does...

    Reloading Cost by the Box

Sorry Bullfrog, but I don't think that your link supports what you are trying to say. Opportunity cost can be either monetary or non-monetary but as Dr. Sowell so often points out, dollars are a convenient way of evaluating the cost in a manner everyone can relate to. One of his examples is...

What's up with the carbide rings coming out?

because manufacturing a product that falls apart will save them money in the long run after they replace the product or they are sued? The same companies that have been in business longer than some of us middle-aged reloaders have been alive and that have built a reputation for producing crappy...

    Kinetic Bullet Pullers

Just one piece of advice from pulling plenty some ammo, throw away the collets that come with the puller and buy a cheap set of Lee shellholders. They'll never gall or come apart and work like a charm.

    Reloading Cost by the Box

This subject gets brought up all the time, same results. Everyone brags about how cheap their ammo is to reload, but it is rarely apples to apples or comprehensive. Its much like when people talk about their efficiency when brewing beer. One comparison here was 9mm WWB FMJ and then it is...
