I haven't dropped a gun yet, which is a good thing because I often catch things well before it registers in my brain that I've dropped anything. Its like a mix of being really agile and really clumsy.

9mm broke the reload price point for me last summer. I shot up my factory stock, and now will reload it.

This one had numerous pitted areas, the bore was in good shape, but the finish was quite worn, and it was over $500. I'll pass I guess.

I finally saw one in a shop today. Never seen one in person, nor for sale locally. Price was what I thought was high for a gun in somewhat rough shape. However, never seeing them for sale makes me think they can command a premium. Would you pay over $400? Over $500?

Most of my guns are .22s. I've always liked plinking with them. Off the top of my head, I think I have 77/22, 10/22, single six, P22, Beretta 948, Hi-Standard, and a Ciener 1911 conversion kit.

Shooting clays in the cold with my brother and Dad, trying to keep my hands and ears warm.... Why did we only shoot clays when it was cold out?

Well it has one of those locks that you can supposedly pick with a bic ballpoint pen. I've owned a couple, have one now, I'd give it maybe 2-3 whacks with any decent hammer and it would open right up. Mine, thy keypad stopped working so I just use a key with it, so I may actually test this...

I made the .22 leap a year ago when ammo prices first jumped. Most of my guns now are .22s. 77/22, 10/22, Ruger single-six, P22, Hi-Standard R101, Beretta 948, and a 1911 conversion kit. Agreed Steve, .22 is the way to go!

Yeah MA has the gunowner million dollar insurance policy requirement bill that comes up every single year as well, it goes nowhere. I wouldn't worry about this one either.
