Hogue Aluminum grips for Sig P239?

Are the G10's thinner than the OEM wood grips? I was just looking at those on the Hogue website. I do love the G10's on my 1911's.

Hogue Aluminum grips for Sig P239?

Just to clarify, the frame is the same on the 40 vs the 9, but the slide of the 40 (357) is wider and taller??? Do I have that right? I am not 100% sure on this one.

Hogue Aluminum grips for Sig P239?

Thanks for the input SK. I suppose the rubbers will be a cheaper option to explore than the Aluminum's. But the Al sure does look nice. I like the Alumagrips I have for my 1911's, but they don't make a P239 option.

Hogue Aluminum grips for Sig P239?

Does anyone have, or know from experience if the Hogue Aluminum grips for the Sig P239 are any thinner than the Sig wood grips. I picked up a SAS 2-tone DAK P239 with the fairly thick wood grips. Beautiful gun, but I was curious about the Hogue Aluminums. If memory serves, the finger grip...

Sig Sauer C3 vs Ruger Lightweight 1911

Some compact mags have 6 rounds, some have 7. Some full size mags have 7 rounds, some have 8. Hence the overlap.

    The Chopping Block

If you had to fill every niche, from pocket carry to IWB with just one gun, the P938. 6+1 or 7+1 of 9mm is not too bad. It can be pocket carried with the 6 round mags. Harder to do with the CQB 45. If it's never leaving your home, or you very infrequently carry (if at all), then that's another...
