    Sovereign scope?

    i noticed the other day that my dad has a Sovereign 3-9x40 on his .243 and was wondering if anybody knows anything about Sovereign scopes. i asked my dad about it and he said he got it from a friend back in the day. i searched the net and found nothing about them. any info?

    .17 HMR vs. .22 Mag

    im stuck between these two calibers. ive done lots of reading but everybody wants opinions on hunting. im STRICTLY target shooting with this gun. the two guns im lookin at are both marlin bolt actions. the .17 has a bull barrel and the .22 mag does not. what is going to be the best target gun...
