The best savings for shot gun is slugs and buck shot. I am about to strat castingmy own buckshot and slugs and the price is not $1 per round. I can make loaded slug rounds cheaper than my shot reloads. The shot reloads I have done preform better than any factory ammo I have bought.

I am looking at getting a Hastings Wadlock barrel and wanted to know if slugs can be shot in them? I cannot find any info on this, hastings has removed the wadlock line from there website. Any wadlock owners out there tried slugs? How is the leading?

I was RO ing a speed steel event couple months ago and caught a 45 case in the adams, apple hurt for the rest of the day. Factory ball ammo .223 are very hot when they are ejected cant pick them up right away.

Does anyone have an older pacific/hornaday press? I am looking at getting one (model 155 I think) and wondering if the standard (currently offered) hornaday powder/shot bushings are the same for the older presses. Any complaints or praises for the older presses?
