As I examine the side plate it appears to say TOWNLEY. This tells me it is still a "hardware gun" made by or imported by H&D Folsom Arms Co, of NY for the Townley metal and Hardware Co of Kansas City MO. You will probably get a better picture with the pencil. HJN

To better read the sideplates. Take a #2 graphite pencil. Color over any writtings. This should enhance the lettering so you should be able to read it. JM

It appears to resemble the attached photo, American Gun Co. Which was a house brand of H&D Folom of NY in the late 1800's early 1900's JM

We discovered that by crowning the bbl accuracy was OK up to about 25 yds. Not much over that. But it did put out 750 rpm, and like you mentioned, it was kind of "spray and pray" but it did help suppress fire. JM
