    As I examine the side plate it appears to say TOWNLEY. This tells me it is still a "hardware gun" made by or imported by H&D Folsom Arms Co, of NY for the Townley metal and Hardware Co of Kansas City MO. You will probably get a better picture with the pencil. HJN

    To better read the sideplates. Take a #2 graphite pencil. Color over any writtings. This should enhance the lettering so you should be able to read it. JM
