I finally put the time, effort, and $ into my old Mosin sporter project I started about 3 years ago..
It turned out really well so far. I originally purchased this gun and had plans to just play with it for fun and maybe it would be a good backup medium/larger game gun for me if it shot ok...
Took 2 this season with my AR chambered in 300 BLK. Well I took a doe. My lady took a buck with it.
Load was a hand loaded Hornady 125 SST at just over 2200fps
Doe was a 80 yard broadside shot
Complete pass through as expected and about a 2" hole going out
Buck was out a bit...

The Girlfriend purchased a used LCP about a year ago as a ultra conceal gun. She wanted something small enough to put in a pocket or in a purse. The LCP was OK for a while but ti was a rough shooter for her after about 4 mags her hand would hurt and she wouldnt shoot any more than that...
I have a Sig P239 in 40 S&W and it has always shot a little low when you use a traditional sight picture where you line up the front sight even with the rear sight bar and place the intended target on top of that. My girlfriend has a 239 in 9mm and hers shoots dead on with that sight window but...
Anyone ever hear of using ketchup to clear up copper fouling. I had some crotchety old gunsmith tell me that is what he uses when I was looking over the various chemicals to remove fouling. Not sure if I should give it a try or not I think the old dodger was feeding me a line of bull.
