10mm fans -- thoughts on the EAA Witness?

These are well built guns and great shooters. Like all CZ's and there clones, the slide is sometimes hard to grasp as it is extremely thin vertically. They have excellent ergonomics and are very comfortable. Magazines can be expensive and EAA is difficult to deal with on warranty issues. If the...

Lol, it might be time. I can't go 24hrs with a new gun and not shoot it. I get home with it and usually take a walk out to my range and run at least a magazine through each one I get.

I definitely need to find me a good holster for mine. On another note,. I shot a few mags of 185gr Speer Gold Dots yesterday evening and it handled them just fine.

    XDs 45

This gun wasn't even on my radar until I happened upon it at a local shop this week. I was looking at a Kahr CW45 and the guy behind the counter brought it over to me to see. I spent about 20 minutes talking to him and handling it. It was unbelievably thin and packed with extras you usually...

    Any 336 gurus out there

I started sanding the rust spots last night and got down to bare metal. There is obviously some pitting. Before I reblue I need to decide if there is any way to fill in the pitting or should I just blue over it.... anyone?

    Any 336 gurus out there

I picked up an interesting 336 today. It's interesting because the manufacture date is 1968 and the first 2 digits in the serial are 68. All the books say that in 1968 it should still be a letter code of AD. The gun looks great except for one rather unfortunate spot where the owner left it...

    336 finish

My buddy came over this weekend and brought his 336. I took mine out and we shot iron sights on my 100yard range. As expected, both guns performed flawlessly and shot nice groups. However, I never realized how "brown" or "red" my 336 was until I put it next to his My first thought was rust...

    My first lever action

Well, I went to a shop today and saw some lever action rifles. I looked over them and found a 336 as mentioned above. So I bought it too :) This might get bad.

    mak 90 and the nhm91

If the bolt is seized it's probably jumped the rails and has wedged against the rear trunion and rails. The other option is a broken pin or hammer. Got any pics with the cover off? Polytech in Atlanta is your best source for a bolt or firing pin.

    My first lever action

Ive always liked lever actions but have never owned one. I own several AKs, a few ARs and various Other military rifles but have never bought a lever action anything. As luck would have it, I happened across a Glenfield Model 30 today for an amazing price and just had to have it. What can you...

If I'm ever attacked by cans of coke....

I am saying that this pistol, with a ported barrel has less recoil. The gun in your video is not the same gun. The gun in your video is not a Protector II. It does not have the ported barrel or the beavertail. They make a difference. I bought one of the original Protectors last year and...
