    10 GA to 12 GA ?

short 10's are easy to make, you dont even really need a press, just roll crimp. Roll crimped shells look cool and you can write your shot info on the card top wad.

    10 GA to 12 GA ?

I trim 3 1/2" hulls Federal or Remington. I use a cut off wheel on my drill press and just slide them by. I like short 10's for duck hunting and an occaisional round of fun trap or skeet. I dont think short (2 7/8") hulls will work in an auto or pump. They work great in a side by side.

    Remington rolling block model 4

I sold a round barrel one a year ago for $350.00. Depending on condition it might be worth a bit more. It should be fine with any 22 ammo.

    10 GA to 12 GA ?

I use a set of the split gauge mate 10 to 12 inserts. They work great, dont need to come out between shots if you use good ammo like AA's or STS hulls. It does screw up the hulls as they end up with a line on the plastic where the split was, I have reloaded them anyway and they are ok for 1 more...

    Ithaca 10 guage double

it didnt originally a have 3 1/2" chambers. If it does now metal was removed in a place where it shouldnt be and a lot of it too. NID's are strong guns. a 3 1/2" chambered NID will have a S/n in the 500,000 range. They only made about 800 of them. 2 7/8" NID 10's are nice guns but a handloading...

    Questions about a Dillon 550

Your Lee dies will work fine. The Dillon dies have a more open bottom end which makes thing a little easier but I use Lee Dies in my 550 with no issues. It is nice to crimp as a seperate step and you will have an extra station on the tool head to do it so a Lee crimp die is good. Re adjust your...

Bair Press and Dies Deal ?

It is the same press and measure as a Pacific, later became Hornady. If the dies arent carbide, they will work but you will need to lube cases which is a pain.

    MEC 650 shotshell loader

The 650 is still a currently made MEC press. It is their bottom of the line progressive press. The only difference between it and the Grabber is the resizing unit on the Grabber. If you are only loading shells from your own guns no issue, probably still no issue. MEC does sell the Super Sizer...

In a move to Maryland, can one bring off-list guns?

I live in MD. My understanding is you can own it, (we dont have any registration here, so no way to register anything anyway), but you cant sell or transfer it with in MD. Hell class 3 is OK here its not that bad. There is a list of approved handguns, anything must be on that list to be sold...

Lee Loader vs Green, Red, Orange, etc...

I started with a Lee turret press, the auto index was constanly out of wack. I eventually tossed the press. The Lee scale was garbage, I still use Lee dies. I now use a Dillon 550B, a Lyman orange crusher, a Lyman All American Turret, and lots of MECs with 1 PW 375 for shotshells. The scale is...
