I generally carry my Glock 19, but have my 17 on my permit. I like to carry that when I am in the mountains or deserts. I really like the feel of a full sized gun and don't have a big problem concealing it. I say go for it!

Maverick 88's are a solid gun. I sold a ton of them back in the day and they all functioned and held up well. They might not be a slick as a Beretta 1301, but they will get the job done and then some.
