I just got a set of trijicon night sights for my HK USP they don't seem real bright it's been a while since I've had night sights so maybe I'm just not used to them. They are stamped 12 so they can't be getting dim already or can they?

I got this for deer season it's a awesome scope.

100 yards using the mirror on my truck as a rest.

It's really balanced well. I will be at the range this afternoon to shoot it for the first time since it was chopped.

The only thing I don't like about the savage axis is that it is a long action even though its a .223

Would like to hear feedback on how everyone thinks it looks. Positive or negative.

no its not a heavy barrel.

im leaning towards a 18 inch barrel but what do you mean by making more noise another website someone mentioned you could make the .223 subsonic and still hit targets what does that mean

so if i go down to a 16 it isnt going to "hurt" anything i shoot hornady Vmax 55 grain bullets mostly

is there advantages to having a barrel cut down i have a savage axis .223 that i am thinking about having it taken down to 20" from 22" or i could even have more than just the two inches taken off i have always heard a shorter barrel is more accurate the most i will be shooting with this rifle...

Is zero crown any good.
