"Shampoo is better! I clean the hair!"
"Conditioner is better, I leave the hair silky and smooth!"
I like how this argument gets brought up over and over. Like it's ever going to be solved.
I like it. It's accurate, realiable, but when I look at it, I'm not in love with it. I could toss it and just pick up another and never know the difference!
Okay, first thing that I needed to hear was 'documentary on Spike TV.' I mean for real.
Dragon skin wouldn't work for the same reason that they ditched scale armor. And upward thrust into the little plates can defeat it.
I sure didn't. I saw a photo of a rifle on the most recent Shotgun News (didn't buy it) and thought it was a folding-stock AR rifle. I must have (yeah, obviously! ;-)) misread. Sorry for the confusion!
I wouldn't be so quick to dismiss this excellent rifle and its time-proven iron sights. It's still extremely lethal, reliable, and accurate. Anyone think that the M1 Garand or the M14 is obsolete? M1903 even?
There are a lot of states that don't recognize a CCW being held by a non-resident; such as an Illionois resident holding a Utah or Florida license. Something else to check on.
That flat trigger looks goofy to me, but if it works better who cares? Why exactly does it work better? Less contact with the trigger finger, more finely-tuned trigger squeeze?
The thing about Krylon is that it is a very inexpensive paint. Your gun already has a good protective finish on it, so if you paint metal parts they don't need further protection. And your stock, being fiberglass, is already weatherproofed. All of my painted rifles do just fine, if they start...
+1 on taking it apart and putting it in the dishwasher. It's great for getting the grease off! Then you can sand the stock and refinish it, oil the metal parts and put it back together. Viola!
