I highly recommend the Barnes bullets weight would depend on the twist of your rifle,They stay together and will give you through & through's.
They run a little larger than lead bullets of the same grain weights.
I like my glocks but I'm in no hurry for this one,I have an XDS and shield to cover that niche which are both thinner and more capacity.
If the after market bring out some decent mag extensions I may consider one
down the road.Im not big on pocket carry,if it had been a single stack 19 I would...
Compared to what?I don't find them as ugly as I used to.I have one EXO model 19 that almost looks good.Unless it is sitting next to my 1911's or cz's or.......
I prefer mine on my person under mine and only my control, years ago I kept a long gun in my truck but not anymore.
I do keep a cable locked gun safe in my truck in the advent I have to enter
a federal bld or something.
Had one once loaded some 9mm tite group loads to test, powder drop did not drop a full load it picked up the next round and stoped 1/8" out of battery.
pulled the rest and found a couple more that dropped light.I got real careful
using tite group after that.
Mines at my gun smith now having action work no apex kit, they have there own in house action packages. If you have a smith you trust this can be done reasonably cheep and safe.
No kids at home now,but they have all grown up with fire arms.
I used to keep several stashed around the house.Phone cabinet, entry cabinet, kitchen cup board ect.Since my wife now carries 24/7 and we have very young grand kid's only one fire arm is out of the safe,A carbine allway's is by the...
There all exceptional fire arms the P-01 is the largest but weighs in only slightly more than the Emp,And is a very shootable pistol(one of my favorites.)
And for dependability it woul be my choice over the others.
Glock is probably not never going to build the one I want( G19 single stack)
so I bought a xds 4.0 with the 8 round mag its almost identical in size to the 19.Infact it rides real nice in my tt gunleather 19 holster. If and when Glock builds mine,I'll buy it.Untill then the xds will have to do...
I shoot a lot of different fire arms with different actions,I shoot all 5 divisions in Idpa. The 1911 feels best in my hand and seems to point the best, but Under stress, combat shooting, shooting from retention ect.I have proven time and again that Im am better with my G19 than all my other...
I turned 60 this year and my taste and needs have evolved over the years.
Two years ago I sold off a bunch and now keep a even dozen on hand.
I do not have safe queens mine are all shooters,in what I consider mid range.
I now only buy if I want something enough to sell one first this keep's the...
I think not, gotten pretty close a few times. My current entries for the title are.
Kimber pro carry II,Ultra carryII.Czp-01,G19,Xds 9,and a 3'' model 60.I dont count my 380's in this endeavor. When I retire in a few years the search may be over.
It is a pain sorting them and as of yet I have not loaded any.
I just through them in a bucket in case there's a primer or brass shortage down the road.
