Lucky!! Awesome friend!!!
I stopped at my local sop and found a brick of Win LR magmun for $39 today. Almost fell over when I saw em. Moreso when they said I could buy the whole brick!
Fired some ar223 brass rounds. Upon inspection of empties, I see a small horizontal score mark/indentation on the side of the main body of the brass case. It is quite slight, but defenitely noticeable.
I run my finger over it and can feel the indentation.
W/o posting a pick, any thoughts on...
i have the 62gr hpbt hornady from midsouth. i settled on 24.5 h335. oal=2.256, cci400 primers.
i worked up 24.0, 24.5, and 25.0 loads, and settled on the 24.5 as the feed, ejected, and were plenty accurate @ 100yds.
Love those bullets, so easy to load.
Anyone care to share what their OAL is with RMR's new 124 gr FMJ?
I run the 124 gr 9mm Match round nose at 1.150 oal, and they shot great, but this new 124gr FMJ has a different profile. Hornady doesn't make a comparator insert for .355 best I can tell.
I would love to compare length at ogive...
Purchased these several times. The math is a bit backwards, isn't it??
Not in front of my notes, but I think I used 24.5g H335 with the 62 hornady hp. My rig loves 'em.
I needed 5.3 WSF to get good feed/ejection from one piece i have. Lesser was giving FTF/FTE. An old Winchester load book has that at max. It is a bit stout, but not bad. It is pretty accurate, and it feeds reliably so it's my go to load for that one. The 5.1 gr is an accurate/reliable load...
